In 1924 Roland Warnock, Frank Warnock and Knox Duckworth posed for this wonderful old photo at the Warnock family home place near Fort Stockton in Pecos County Texas. Roland Warnock was a cowboy and pioneer road builder. Frank Warnock had a long career in science education.

 

"My family came to Pecos County, TX (Fort Stockton) in 1918. Been here since. Uncle B.H. Warnock is a renowned botanist of the Big Bend, grandfather Roland Warnock was a cowboy and pioneer road builder with the TX Hwy Dept. while father Frank Warnock grew up in Fort Stockton and went on to an long career in science education.
