Busy Day on South Side of Square in Floydada Texas in 1909 featuring Boerner & Nelson's Cash Grocery, Snodgrass Dry Goods and farmers bringing wagon loads of grain to town. This is the year Floyd County was officially incorporated in October following the September elections. There were 58 of 75 votes 'for' the incorporation. The population was approximately 500.
