Leonard Elder, "This picture was taken in 1919 in the Paducah, TX area. The little girl on the right sitting down is my mother born March 1918 in Chalk, TX. Also in the picture are my Aunts, Lucy standing on the left, Mary sitting holding Uncle Raymond, and Minnie standing behind momma. The necklaces they're wearing were sent to them from France by their Uncle George Smiley Black. Uncle Smiley was in France during WWI. He was living in Foard City, TX when he enlisted June 5, 1917. Foard City no longer exist. Grandpa and Grandma Parr had thirteen children. Eleven girls and two boys. Two of the girls were born in Truscott, TX and died right after birth.
