In 1927 the New and Black families posed together in front of their car in Truscott Texas for this huge old portrait of life in Knox County Texas. Both families had come from Wayne County, KY in the 1890s to settle in Knox County. There are several related New's, Black's, and Parr;s buried in the cemetery in Truscott.
