Amarillo Hotel in 1890
The Amarillo Hotel, a large wooden structure, was built
at Polk and Third. By 1890 businesses and houses were strung along Polk
and Taylor. This photo may be the only surviving image of the Amarillo
Hotel showing the windmill and tank and a few other buildings |
