This post card from 1911 provided two views of Snyder Texas, a steam locomotive beside the Snyder Lumber Co and a birds-eye view of the city

Mailed to Brent Lemons' 6 year-old grandmother at the time, it was postmarked "Champ" Tx. and addressed to Miss Rubie Hutcherson in Lockney Texas.  Rubie and her parents were at that time living in Fluvanna, Scurry County. She was obviously visiting her grandparents in Lockney (Floyd Co).
